Job Description

About Affiniti – We are a venture capital platform that’s creating a world of shared prosperity. We build and manage investor communities and investment funds. We use our technology platform to syndicate funds for angels, accelerators and Micro-VC’s and other members of our venture community. We use our expertise to co-manage ventures funds on behalf of corporates, foundations, family offices and other institutions. Affiniti is supported by the largest online venture capital syndicate for women and minority founders in the US - with over 300 accredited investors joining our community within 1 year of operations.

We are recruiting an investment analyst intern to join us to provide key leadership and support for our Venture Community team’s goals and strategies. Reporting to the Partner (Investor Relations), the Intern will help strengthen and deepen our relationships with our venture community members, especially supporting the development of our venture partner syndicated funds.

Roles and responsibilities:

·        Investment screening / creation of investment memos

·        Early Stage financial modeling, investment projections and returns

·        Venture Community outreach via our Stream platform, email, phone and social media as well as coordination of in person meetings

·        Represent the Affiniti in a variety of settings - planning groups, panels, interviews, and conferences, among others - with the purpose of nurturing both investor and entrepreneur linkages


·        Rising Senior, Pre-MBA, MBA student or full-time employee

·        Community building and partnership experience

·        A progressive belief in social/racial/economic justice, and shared prosperity

·        1 year demonstrated experience personally preparing financial analysis and presentations

·        Ability to quickly analyze complex scenarios and communicate simple narratives


·        An Affiniti Venture Community City (NYC, DC, SF or London) is preferred, but not required
